Its why I’m here, Beer!! Life with kids changes you but you have to totally change!, I used to get wasted on a weekend (or a weekday come to think of it but I did run a pub) now I want nothing more than to have fun with the kids, but when the kids are in bed there is nothing better than a great beer or a relaxing wine.
OK so that doesn’t sound great, I did not spend all my 20’s wasted, I had great times as well, I did a lot of sport and traveled around a bit but I did love a drink only now that I’m older and wiser (some might disagree with that comment) I have come to grasp the fundamental point to a “drink”, it’s not just to get you drunk, the brewers are craftspeople spending their time to create a drink to enjoy, from the color, smell, the look, and the taste, from the brewing to the marketing and the selling of the product its a journey of spreading the love so that we can sit back and be taken into a new taste sensation.
I am writing this because I want to learn more about different drinks, meet the brewers, taste the end result and one day creates my own Beer!
