Parents all over the world are now under pressure to keep the family in normality, searching the web for ideas on how to entertain their children for approximately 12 hours a day.
We are all suffering the “I’m bored” or “can we go out?”, and having to remind are little darlings that you can’t go over to see your mates and “please wash your bloody hands!”.
I seem to look out the window just hoping this virus goes away and we can go back to the norm, but as soon as I find that 10 seconds to do this, I get the “Daddy Tibbius just pinched me” or “get off me!” or “stop watching me” and “Daddy ASBO has stolen the T.V. controller again! ” all screamed out at an alarming desable.

and 1 x T.V. and 1 x drawing but still, they scream!, my new position at the kitchen table looking into our small garden means I now have to dodge my back neighbors eye line whilst they sit doing there work, looking at the back of my house! , thankfuly the good weather means the washing line has become the blind that blocks both our views.
And it kicks off again!…..
The bloody charger! fighting again over the micro USB charger as both boys too lazy to get up of their asses and find a charger, or just come and ask me, so they fight over the one plugged in.
Well ASBO got a shock yesterday, in his wisdom (or he was bored and wanted to make a reaction) he sniper shot mummy in the shower with his nerf gun, what he didn’t expect was that mummy (still covered in soap ) jumped out the shower grabbed a towel ran downstairs in hot pursuit (via the nerf gun armory cupboard) and declared all-out war on ASBO, things we do in A lockdown (I wonder what the neighbor thought was going on?).
I now wonder who is making a “mint” in this situation? well for a start the electric companies as every spare wall socket in the house are now filled with an electrical device charging, our T.V. is constantly on with films, programs & gaming stations, the more we stay at home the more we wash clothes, use the dishwasher and hoover the house and heating.
The water companies as with everyone home more showers, baths, cooking and cleaning with washing machines and dishwashers (twice daily!) washing the car (this seems to be a weekly hobby down our road at the moment) so those on a water meter must be broke by now.
Food companies (well documented on their recent % uplifts!) as we still need to eat (my local convenience store gets emptied as soon as they put out the delivery) the big Companies (if you can be assed to queue and then clean your own basket or trolley then walk like a zombie down an aisle) down to the small shops serving the communities with essentials (we have decided to shop locally to help our local businesses).
And companies who Deliver, those who were set up properly before this virus started and are able to supply the nation with there slick logistics and warehouse teams and those who have had to change their logistics but now are on track to keep Britain moving.
On a lighter note for all the workers on the front line, I give my thanks for all you are doing but also everyone else, big or small input from the health care assistants to the children giving up pocket money to buy Easter eggs for the unwell or isolated, Than you.
We are in lockdown but it’s showing us the spirit which makes this country Great.
