Miles Tea a refreshing brew created at the end of the west Somerset railway in the town called Porlock, Minehead.

A town famous for Butlins holiday camp, the steam railway Dunster castle and town and on the edge of Exmoor.

The other day, disaster struck when not just one or two, but a whopping five teabags decided to split open, resulting in tea leaves spilling everywhere. It was a chaotic scene as we scrambled to contain the mess. Suspecting a production issue, we promptly emailed Miles to inform them of the mishap. Time to spill the tea, quite literally, on what went wrong.

After taking some photos and a little email to Miles customer service explaining what happened, In less than an hour, a prompt response arrived from Sally at Miles customer service. She apologised for the inconvenience, expressing gratitude for the photos of the packaging to investigate the batch issue. In a thoughtful gesture, Sally requested my address to promptly send a replacement box. Looks like Sally’s on a mission to ensure our tea experience is top-notch!

The next day, a familiar knock echoed through the house, interrupting our daily routine. With a sense of curiosity, one of my children answered the door to find a surprise delivery waiting for us. It was none other than a replacement packet of 80 Miles Tea, sent by Sally. It seems our tea stash is in good hands, even amidst unexpected twists and turns!
